Get Dunked On is a website that I created in order to sync up with friends to play basketball on the weekends.  The goal was to make it easy for others to check off if they will be available to play, or if they couldn’t make it.  A completely customized PHP-MySQL backend manages users, profile photos, events, and availability.  Weekly reminders are sent out to users who have not yet updated their availability and also specified they would like to receive notifications.  Currently invite-only and the invitation system was completely created from the ground up generating a random 10-digit code and disposing of it after use.  Users can add a profile photo and multiple versions of the photos are stored for use within different sections of the website.  Get Dunked On has helped me organize my weekend passion, playing basketball.
